Gary Slack has today been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer at QinetiQ North America. Slack previously served as the company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer when he joined in August of 2012. He will continue to serve as CFO on an interim basis.

“Gary will continue to serve as a key member of the QNA executive leadership team,” said JD Crouch, CEO of QinetiQ North America. “With his broad skill-set and experience successfully leading large operations, he will be a key asset to us as we continue to improve our business operations in an increasingly more competitive market.”

Prior to joining QinetiQ NA, Slack spent 13 years at BAE Systems, with his last position serving as President of the company’s U.S. Combat Systems business. He also served at BDM International, Inc., Honeywell Federal Systems, Inc. and the Virginia Department of Taxation.
