Dan Hushon, CSCChief Technologist Dan Hushon has been named chief technology officer of CSC. He will lead the company’s strategy and growth of its product lines, as well as boost technology excellence across the company. Hushon will report CSC President and CEO Mike Lawrie.“Our company’s transformation initiative relies heavily on our ability to drive growth in next-generation technology solutions,” Lawrie said. “Dan’s leadership experience in developing cloud, big data and analytics, and other next-generation technologies at EMC and Sun will significantly augment our organization’s capabilities.”Hushon has more than 20 years of information technology industry experience delivering technology-differentiated solutions to private, public and international clients. Prior to joining CSC, he served as engineer and chief technologist for EMC Corporation and Sun Microsystems(now Oracle). At EMC he developed key strategic initiatives in big data, cloud technologies and next-generation infrastructure. At Sun Microsystems, he served in a variety of roles managing cloud services and global sales.
