    The S&R Foundation Names Katherine Goodall Chief Operating Officer

    Katherine Goodall has been named Chief Operating Officer of the S&R Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports talented individuals with aspirations in the arts and sciences.

    “We are excited to add Ms. Goodall to the S&R Foundation leadership team as we work together to support aspiring artists and scientists,” President and CEO of the S&R Foundation, Dr. Sachiko Kuno. “I am confident that Ms. Goodall’s successful experiences at highly-regarded institutions, combined with her passion and drive, will position the Foundation to grow and broaden its strength and reach.”

    In her new role, Goodall will be responsible for marketing, branding, and fundraising.  Most recently, she was the Director for Institutional Advancement at the Association of Science-Technology Centers, and performed similar responsibilities at the American Association of Museums, J P II Cultural Center & Museum, and the Naval Historical Center.

    “I have great admiration for the remarkable strides Dr. Kuno and her team have made within the last year, particularly in launching theOvertures Concert Series and the International Institute of Global Resilience,” said Goodall. “I feel privileged to be a part of an organization with such a unique mission and driven leaders, and am looking forward to developing programs and partnerships that will continue to elevate the Foundation’s mission in the coming year and beyond.”

    Goodall holds a B.A. in World Literature from North Carolina State University, and an M.A. in Nautical Archaeology from East Carolina University.
