    Donnie Scott, ECS

ECS has named Donnie Scott president, succeeding John Heneghan. He will lead ASGN’s federal segment as agencies increase investment in mission-critical technology, digital modernization and national security priorities.

Scott brings over 25 years of leadership experience across federal services and products, with a track record of driving growth, operational performance and innovation in highly regulated environments.

Most recently, he was CEO of IDEMIA Public Security North America, where he led organizational transformation, improved financial performance, streamlined operations and unified multiple legacy businesses.

Before IDEMIA, Scott was an industry sales leader at DXC Technology, supporting the U.S. public sector and national security markets and helping generate more than $1 billion in sales for the company’s national security business. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, HP and Electronic Data Systems.

As president of ASGN’s federal segment, Scott will focus on executing a long-term growth strategy across federal customers, strengthening operational execution and advancing ECS’ ability to address complex government IT requirements with expertise, efficiency and speed.

“ECS has built a strong foundation in the federal market with trusted customer relationships and differentiated capabilities,” he said. “I look forward to working with the team to build on their momentum, expand offerings, and capitalize on the opportunities created by a growing federal budget.”

ASGN CEO Ted Hanson thanked Heneghan for his leadership of the company’s federal segment over the past four years, crediting him with guiding ECS through a shifting federal spending environment. Hanson said Heneghan will continue to play a key role as he moves into the consulting transformation officer role within ASGN’s commercial segment, where he will focus on advancing the company’s push toward AI-led technology solutions.
