Serenity Paez
Vice President and Division Manager, Homeland Security Enterprise Solutions, CACI
Serenity Paez brings over 20 years of IT and service delivery expertise to her role at CACI, where she leads strategy and execution across the company’s homeland security enterprise solutions division. She’s focused on delivering emerging enterprise IT technologies and developing a future-ready workforce to support Department of Homeland Security’s evolving national security missions.
Since joining CACI in 2020, Paez has cultivated and maintained high-level strategic partnerships with key government agencies. Recently, Paez oversaw CACI’s successful collaboration with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to launch its Industry Engagement Platform, a modern, secure solution built on ServiceNow that positions CISA to meet growing engagement demands of technology innovators.
Paez’s team is currently working on providing IT infrastructure and end-user services across DHS, supporting the Office of the Chief Information Officer for approximately 15,000 DHS employees. Under Paez’s strategic guidance, the company enabled the second-largest GenAI release for DHSChat and carried out an IT support model transition that resulted in $3 million in government savings.
“At the core of homeland security is the ability to securely move and act on data at mission speed,” she said. “My priority is aligning technology, talent, and execution to make that possible for our customers.”
Why Watch
This year, Paez’s team will continue delivering end-to-end technology and expertise to design, build, implement, secure, and sustain IT infrastructure for new and existing customers. By optimizing operational efficiency, performance, and the end-user experience, Paez is helping government agencies securely deliver critical data when and where it is needed most to protect the homeland.
