    WATCH: Inside the VA’s iFAMS Rollout with CGI’s Monica Winthrop

    CGI is helping the Department of Veterans Affairs modernize its financial and acquisition operations through the Integrated Financial and Acquisition Management System. In this interview, WashingtonExec’s Amanda Ziadeh talks with Monica Winthrop, senior vice president of consulting services for VA at CGI, about what iFAMS is, how it leverages Momentum and commercial off-the-shelf technologies, and how it aligns with the administration’s push for efficiency and cost savings. Winthrop also shares CGI’s role in the system’s deployment and how the program can scale to meet future federal needs.
