Protect AI secures artificial intelligence applications and models, accelerating Palo Alto Networks’ commitment to securing the next generation of technology infrastructure, the company said. As an integrated company, Palo Alto Networks aims to meet the demands of organizations across major industries as they leverage AI.
Palo Alto Networks Senior Vice President and General Manager of Network Security Anand Oswal said the promise of AI is immense, but so are the security risks. He noted that customers are moving quickly to adopt AI and are looking for a partner that can secure their entire AI ecosystem at scale.
“Protect AI’s capabilities are a powerful complement to our innovative Prisma AIRS platform, and scales our ability to provide both depth and breadth in AI security to deliver protection across the entire AI lifecycle,” he said.
Protect AI’s technology and team of experts will be an important part of Palo Alto Networks’ Prisma AIRS, the the company’s AI security platform. The acquisition brings together model scanning, posture management, AI red teaming, runtime protection and AI agent security, allowing Prisma AIRS to help businesses securely deploy AI-driven innovation.
Protect AI CEO Ian Swanson, who is joining Palo Alto Networks as vice president of product for Prisma AIRS, said the acquisition propels the team and its AI security platform into a new era of scale and impact.
