DMI has named Lori Shaw capture leader for its federal business, bringing over 30 years of experience growing civilian and Defense Department accounts.
“I’m excited to join a company like DMI that is committed to customer mission success and delivery excellence,” she said. “I look forward to working with the talented teams here to pursue strategic opportunities and bring forward solutions that make a difference for our government clients.”
The company said Shaw’s appointment underscores DMI’s push to expand in federal markets with innovative, outcomes-driven IT solutions. She will lead capture efforts on high-priority opportunities, shape win strategies and align DMI’s offerings with federal mission needs.
“Lori brings a rare combination of capture expertise, delivery insight, and deep agency relationships,” said Trey Theimer, DMI chief growth officer. “Her leadership will be instrumental in accelerating our federal growth strategy and positioning DMI for long-term success across the civilian and defense sectors.”
Shaw was most recently account director at SAIC, where she led operations and growth strategies for the Environmental Protection Agency and General Services Administration. She also held leadership roles at Unisys Federal Services and Fulcrum IT Services, driving business development and strategic capture across federal agencies.
Earlier, as vice president of civilian services at Apptis, now part of Amentum, she managed portfolios worth more than $250 million in annual revenue and secured major wins with the Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Trade Commission, the departments of Education and Transportation and other agencies.
