Nightwing has announced Yvonne Vervaet as its new chief growth officer. Her role will entail leading the company’s strategic vision, business development, organic growth and new capabilities across the intelligence community, federal civilian, Defense Department and commercial markets.

Vervaet brings 30 years of experience in the defense and aerospace industry, with leadership roles in strategy, business development and operations. She has driven M&A planning, strategic resource alignment and sustained organic growth.

“Nightwing is in an exciting stage of its growth and we are pleased to be welcoming a leader who has such deep expertise in business development and innovation in our field,” said Nightwing CEO Bob Coleman. “Yvonne’s demonstrated history of guiding strategic growth for intelligence and defense businesses, and her passion for the mission, make her a fantastic addition to the team.”

Before joining Nightwing, Vervaet was chief growth officer at Acclaim Technical Services. She also served as senior vice president for growth and capabilities and chief growth officer at ManTech International, chief operating officer of SC3/Cipher, and vice president of business development and operations at SpecTal (BAE Systems). Her earlier roles include positions at CSC, EDS and Northrop Grumman.

“It’s a pleasure to be joining Nightwing, a company with deep roots in national security,” Vervaet said. “Our customers are facing new demands and I know that with Nightwing’s experience, adaptability, and technical expertise, we are well positioned to help them stay ahead of increasingly complex threats. I’m thrilled to be part of this mission.”

Vervaet has a degree in business administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
