Vice President of Department of Homeland Security, Maximus

The past few years saw rapid growth for Maximus in its national security practice, with Jennifer Ferreira’s leadership guiding the way.

Ferreira joined Maximus two years ago with over 15 years of experience in federal contracting focused on the Department of Homeland Security and quickly accelerated Maximus’ expansion with various national security agencies.

“I knew Maximus had an impressive reputation across federal agencies thanks to its superior approaches to technology, strategy and customer experience, all of which were needed across DHS,” Ferreira said. “Our team, led by John Mandell, has quickly established itself as a leader and a trusted partner for agencies as we work together to face some of our country’s most unique missions.”

On the technology front, Maximus launched its new TXM (Total Experience Management) solution earlier this year, an integrated solution designed to help federal agencies deliver trusted information and government services simply, consistently and securely.

Maximus’ national security portfolio spans a wide range of DHS components including the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, Transportation Security Administration and Federal Emergency Management Agency.

    Why Watch

Looking ahead to 2025, Ferreira aims to drive continued growth for the federal business by securing more contracts with the State Department, the intelligence community and DHS.

“We have so much to offer agencies in the national security space based upon our track record of success with technology projects for decades,” she said. “One of our key differentiators is our people, because our leaders are able to think outside the box and meet the challenge and complex missions these agencies face on a daily basis.”
