    LMI Wins $9.4M Contract to Support DLA Information Operations, Defense Enterprise Data Standards Office

    LMI won a $9.4 million contract to support functional and logistics systems interoperability for the Defense Logistics Agency Information Operations, Defense Enterprise Data Standards Office.

    Under this contract, LMI will assist with supply logistics, finance, electronic data interchange, IT and the e-commerce experience.

    “LMI is thrilled to continue applying our expertise in digital modernization and logistics practices to support DEDSO’s mission-critical functions,” said Stu Jones, LMI’s vice president of the Office of the Secretary of Defense and defense agencies market. “Our focus on driving innovative solutions while improving data quality and accuracy, facilitating data analyses for better decision-making, and enabling full data integration and interoperability is central to our commitment to DLA’s continued success.”

    DEDSO has supported the Defense Department’s digital transformation by streamlining data standards and business processes for critical logistics systems. This effort enables full auditability, supports modernization and improves interoperability.

    LMI brings expertise in EDI implementation and DOD logistics, helping DEDSO manage logistics EDI exchange policies, which are tailored to the unique requirements of DOD logistics processes, the company said.

    For over 15 years, LMI has supported DEDSO by developing, documenting and managing essential business processes, data elements and transaction standards for DOD logistics systems.
