T-Rex Solutions won a 5-year, $52 million single-award contract with the Education Department’s Office of the Chief Information Officer to develop its Portfolio of Integrated Value-Oriented Technologies – Hosting, or PIVOT-H.

PIVOT-H is a critical part of the Education Department’s PIVOT vision, which seeks innovation, flexibility and cost-effectiveness, the company said.

“T-Rex is honored to support the Department of Education with this vital modernization initiative,” said T-Rex CEO Seth Moore. “This award diversifies our Federal Civilian portfolio and reinforces our mission to help the Federal government transform and modernize its mission-critical systems.”

The PIVOT programs provide secure IT services across various platforms and locations to support DOE’s mission to provide “world-class services to schools, students, and their families.”

As the prime contractor on PIVOT-H, T-Rex will migrate applications to a multi-cloud environment and perform hosting, operations and maintenance, network and security tasks.
