The Naval Sea Systems Command has awarded CACI International Inc. a task order to continue working at command headquarters, and Navy shipyards and maintenance facilities in the U.S. and Japan under the Naval Shipyard Training and Education Program.
NSTEP is about bringing a business perspective to the Navy, helping it improve performance, business processes and industrial abilities. Its shipyards represent about $4 billion in business every year, and 29,000 employees.
“CACI’s sustained superior performance has been key to our success in retaining NAVSEA’s business for 20 years and through six contract re-competes,” said President and CEO Dan Allen. “The proven training we provide for civilian and military personnel at naval facilities in the United States and overseas is crucial to keeping ships on station and protecting our national priorities.”
The company has supported the Naval Sea Systems Command for 20 years. It provides human capital development such as team building, interpersonal skills and communications. It also provides expertise in strategy development.
The task order is worth $21.5 million.
