Parsons Corp. won a contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District to work at Camp San Luis Obispo Munitions Response Site 05.
The company will be a subcontractor under PIKA-Insight Joint Venture LLC, handling advanced geophysical data collection and analysis. The contract, new to Parsons, has a ceiling value of $21 million and spans 5 years.

The USACE Los Angeles District provides civil works and military engineering support to Southern California, Nevada, Arizona and parts of Utah.
CSLO, once used for training in World War II and the Korean Conflict, was later given up by the U.S. Army. Now, the USACE Los Angeles looks after CSLO MRS 05 as it’s part of a program for old defense sites. The site requires environmental remediation like the removal of munitions, explosives of concern and munitions constituents.
PIKA-Insight JV will implement environmental and munitions-related remediation work through a small business multiple award task order contract.
