Brad Stone
CIO, Booz Allen Hamilton
Under Brad Stone’s leadership, his team solidified and expanded Booz Allen’s enterprise IT and cybersecurity service delivery to meet emerging mission requirements critical to the company’s VoLT (Velocity, Leadership, Technology) growth strategy.
Furthermore, Stone and his team continued Booz Allen’s zero-trust journey to future-proof the enterprise with enhanced data security and scalable infrastructure capabilities. They strengthened their commitment to being a data-driven organization by achieving the full operating capability of Booz Allen’s modern data lake platform.
“Since Brad assumed the role of CIO, he’s applied Booz Allen’s emerging technology solutions to our own operations to optimize resources and provide an important ‘Client Zero’ feedback loop,” said Booz Allen Chief Technology Officer Susan Penfield. “But this is just one aspect of his ingenuity and value to our firm. His voice is an important one at the table given the complex security environment in which we live today, and he is a true partner in our evolution, providing invaluable support to the business as we innovate and grow.”
Why Watch
Going forward, Stone and his team aim to improve the work experience for over 33,100 Booz Allen employees globally. They plan to refine and upgrade how employees interact with their work environment, focusing on flexible work options to improve efficiency and employee potential. Additionally, they are eager to implement new, smart and secure AI technologies responsibly.
“Once you have amazing talent around you, you realize just how lucky you are to be surrounded by it — dedicated, committed people who do great work and want to do better the next day, every day,” Stone said. “I am truly privileged to work with such colleagues. Booz Allen’s teamwork and culture are how we achieve operational excellence, and it’s my goal as a CIO to make sure our IT infrastructure never holds back any employee, or our business.”
