    Brian Morrison

Vice President & General Manager for Cyber Systems, General Dynamics Mission Systems

Since taking the helm five years ago, Brian Morrison and his team have laser-focused on delivering next-generation encryption and data protection products, leading to significant wins across the portfolio. Those wins have resulted from a combination of customer focus and differentiated technology, enabling mission results.

“The United States has seen our adversaries’ technology outpace our own efforts to protect communication networks over the last decade,” Morrison said. “This demands a once-in-a-generation effort to not only modernize and improve our cybersecurity but also to ensure our networks are future proof with flexible solutions that can be upgraded easily and at the pace of the threat.”

    Why Watch

With the increased and evolving threats to communications security, Morrison’s team will continue to improve and expand its portfolio of in-network encryptors and will introduce significant advancements in high-performance computing space crypto and data separation.

“Brian built a team that operates in an environment that is predictably unpredictable, and he ensures our customers get the most relevant and impactful technology possible,” said Chris Brady, president of General Dynamics Mission Systems. “It has never been more important for our nation to do whatever we can to retain our advantage on the global stage, and Brian is a big part of making that happen.”
