    Vice President of Contracts, LMI

During Bob Sadler’s 4-year tenure at LMI, the company successfully restructured the contracts and subcontracts organization to align with the matrixed structure. Additionally, it made substantial updates and streamlined internal processes and IT systems.

The entire team increased productivity and cohesion while transitioning to a 100% remote work structure during substantial corporate growth and change.

    Why Watch

In 2023, Sadler and his team continue their contracts and subcontracts support for LMI and external customers despite significant change, rapid organic growth, and mergers and acquisitions. As LMI remains active in the M&A market, his team focuses on administrative and proposal support for all customers while leading every aspect of contracts-related due diligence and integration activities for acquisition targets.

“Government contracting, first with the active duty Air Force and now in industry at LMI, has been my only job in my adult life,” Sadler said. “Over the last 25 years, the lessons I have learned, while invaluable, pale in comparison to the personal and professional relationships I have made. In the truly people- and personality-driven world of government contracting, I have worked with and for some of the brightest and most honorable people in our industry.”
