    J.R. Riordan, Sigmatech

    John “J.R.” Riordan

Strategic Programs Advisor to the Vice Chief of Space Operations, U.S. Space Force; Senior Advisor supporting Sigmatech, Inc./Washington, D.C. Operations

J.R. Riordan’s achievements include supporting the U.S. Space Force in its responsibility for organizing, training and equipping Guardians to conduct global space operations at Sigmatech, Inc.

This mission enhances the way joint and coalition forces fight, while also offering decision-makers military options to achieve national objectives.

“Returning to support and serve the warfighter directly was perfectly timed with Sigmatech’s offer to support the United States Space Force Guardians,” Riordan said.

    Why Watch

The space warfighting domain is congested, contested and competitive. Peer and near-peer competitors are major concerns to operating space systems in support of the service mission. Having served as a professional staff member in the Senate Armed Services Committee in the Senate in the establishment of the U.S. Space Force, Riordan wanted to return to serving and supporting the warfighter — and Sigmatech provided that opportunity.

“Sigmatech has over 35 years of experience supporting aerospace, defense, federal, and commercial clients, with a 20-plus year history of winning follow-on contracts,” Riordan said. “They combine technical capabilities with extensive management expertise to meet the needs of our customers. They provide a low risk and high return to its customers every day. I am proud to be part of the Sigmatech team and providing support to the vice chief of Space Operations every day.”
