Tony Frazier
Executive Vice President & General Manager, Public Sector Earth Intelligence, Maxar
In 2022, Tony Frazier guided Maxar’s globally recognized efforts to provide transparency and insight via Earth intelligence amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Additionally, he supported numerous missions focused on national security, humanitarian aid and disaster relief that helped make the world a better place.
Maxar’s Global Enhanced GEOINT Delivery platform played a vital role in enabling the U.S. government and its mission partners to access GEOINT. This platform was used to respond to crises in Ukraine and other locations worldwide. It supports over 400,000 U.S. government and 32 U.S. mission partners.
Maxar continued its progress in building a 3D digital twin of the Earth, establishing a new, accurate and common geospatial foundation for training and operational missions.
Maxar’s acquisition of AI and software development firm Wovenware and radio frequency pioneer Aurora Insight will create strategic growth areas and new offerings for Maxar customers.
Why Watch
Maxar will launch its next-generation WorldView Legion satellites to enable global revisit rates of up to 15 times per day and offer expanded 30 cm-class imagery collection capacity. It will also begin providing assured access to third-party SAR data, ensuring 24/7, all-weather access to Earth imagery, and begin offering non-Earth imaging to characterize activity in low Earth orbit.
“With our new satellites, new partnerships, and new solutions, Maxar’s combined, expanded offering will position us as a true multi-INT provider and as the premier integrator of commercial GEOINT for public sector missions,” Frazier said.
