    New WashingtonExec Series:

The possibility of sequestration, or automatic budget cuts that could take effect on Jan. 2 if Congress fails to agree on how to cut $1.2 trillion dollars from the federal budget, has some in Washington, D.C. thinking ahead. In a new series WashingtonExec is asking federal contracting leaders their thoughts on the situation, how it will impact business, and the road ahead.

MicroPact, Inc. President and CEO, Kris Collo, had this to say:

    Kris Collo:

“The sequestration will bring both challenges and opportunities. My growth philosophy is to always look at a sluggish economy or times of market uncertainty as an opportunity to invest in our products and capabilities, to capture market share, and to hire team members that may not have been available if the economy was in better shape. Through the implementation of our entellitrak case management and business process management solutions, our customers are able to speed implementation times, streamline operations, and reduce the size of their IT investments – which positions us well even in times of contracting budgets.”
