The NIH Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) awarded the Chief Information Officers-Solutions and Partners 3 contract to Catapult Health Technology Group, a joint venture between Catapult Technology and 24 other firms. Many of the firms are small disadvantaged, woman-owned, HUB zone, veteran-owned and/or service-disabled veteran-owned.

Worth as much as $20 billion, the contract is a 10-year, multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinity-quantity, government-wide acquisition contract. Federal agencies awarded the contract for biomedical, health science, healthcare IT and general IT services.

“CHTG’s broad-based understanding of today’s complex health care system provides NIH with a versatile, experienced partner to help navigate the global network of interconnected government agencies, private and public providers, and health organizations,” said David Lyons, Executive Vice President, Technology & Management Solutions division, and Chief Technology Officer at Catapult Technology.

“With our combined experience and expertise, CHTG can rapidly respond and remain focused on any agency’s information technology goals. We look forward to driving acquisition activity through CIO-SP3 and helping to deliver efficiencies and cost savings associated with the implementation of strategic IT solutions.”
