    Jacqui Nevils, L3Harris

    Jacqui Nevils

CIO & Vice President, L3Harris Technologies Inc.

Jacqui Nevils’ biggest recent achievement was removing the company’s last interconnect firewall – allowing L3Harris employees to finally collaborate with ease across the globe.

Since merging in 2019, the multiple environments, sites, solutions and varying levels of security prevented L3Harris from truly collaborating on one WAN. Additionally, Nevils and her team have consolidated to seven active directories – down from 75 – on day 1 of the merger.

“When tasked with the difficult job of integrating the IT landscape for two companies that deliver critical national security missions, Jacqui’s organization secured more than $75 million in efficiencies, an impressive 25% of the company’s overall savings’ commitment to stakeholders,” said L3Harris Chair and CEO Christopher E. Kubasik.

“Additionally, in less than one year she re-architected our core infrastructure, scaling our solutions and environment to meet global business demands. With her passion for innovation, teamwork and collaboration, we are incredibly fortunate to have Jacqui among our ranks at L3Harris.”

    Why Watch

In 2022, Nevils and her team are heavily focused on optimizing L3Harris’ IT footprint, solutions and services to better serve global programs and customers. The more they simplify and standardize, the easier to support and secure.

“We are poised to leapfrog from aged, stove-piped and custom solutions to clean installs of integrated, hybrid-cloud, COTS solutions in a zero-trust architecture,” Nevils said. “This will take time and focus, but shortly L3Harris will begin deploying some of the most modern technology available into the hands of every employee, manufacturing line and program.”
