At this year’s Pinnacle Awards, we’ll be celebrating the career of an industry icon whose contributions to the GovCon community will live on for decades: Greg Baroni.The founder, chairman and CEO of Attain Partners, Baroni will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award for his illustrious career and celebrated contributions to the community.
The awards gala will be live, in-person Nov. 30 at The Ritz Carlton in McLean, Virginia.
Baroni has been on multiple WashingtonExec top lists throughout the years, but his accolades don’t stop there. He’s been honored with numerous industry leadership awards and recognitions, including the coveted Fed 100, Fast Company’s Fast 50, Consulting Magazine’s Top 25, the Greater Washington Government Contracting Awards’ Executive of the Year, just to mention a few.
In addition, Baroni is known for his entrepreneurial spirit and love for sports. Attain Sports and Entertainment – Maryland Baseball, led and owned by Baroni, earlier this year acquired Bowie Baysox, Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, and the Frederick Keys, a collegiate summer baseball team that competes in the MLB Draft League. Attain Sports and Entertainment is committed to community engagement, customer service, innovation and the professional development of its employees.

The deadline to submit an industry and/or government executive for a Pinnacle Award is Sept. 21. Winners are chosen by a panel of judges: longtime industry CEO and current board director Sid Fuchs; longtime industry executive and board member Pam Drew; and Executive Chairman for Oceus Networks Brad Antle.
