SAIC Publishes Yearly Corporate Responsibility Report

    Nazzic Keene, SAIC

Science Applications International Corp. has published its third annual Corporate Responsibility Report, highlighting its continued progress in slashing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, elevating the company’s commitment to leadership and workforce diversity, and expanding workplace flexibility.

The company also reports on its efforts to focus philanthropy in three areas: military heroes; community wellness; and science, technology, engineering and mathematics efforts.

“SAIC embraces a broad scope of environmental, social and governance imperatives in the Company’s daily operations because we believe it makes our business, employees and communities better,” said CEO Nazzic Keene.

For instance, SAIC is expanding work flexibility to keeping employee medical premiums down. The company also highlights its diversity, equity and inclusion efforts — actions aimed at increasing representation of women and people of color throughout all levels of leadership.

“We are focused on a better tomorrow, whether that involves architecting what’s next for our customers, reinventing the future of work for our employees, or improving the world around us,” Keene said.

In addition, the report looks at efforts by the SAIC Charitable Foundation to help employees and dependents in times of need, as well as climate actions, including lowering greenhouse gas emissions by 30% and electricity use by 13% since 2019.
