IQ Solutions has appointed Erik Buice as president. He previously served in senior executive positions in large and small companies in the federal health and IT arenas.

“We are very fortunate to have identified a leader in Erik Buice who brings new experiences, new insights, and new strategic partnership opportunities to further enhance our expanding client portfolio,” said CEO Ileana Quintas. “Erik brings lessons-learned from successfully managing people, processes, and programs in small and large company environments. He also brings proven relationships that can be leveraged to expand in new priority growth areas.”

Buice has 27 years’ experience in federal health and civil contracting. He was named a WashingtonExec Top 10 Health Care Leader to Watch in 2018 and a Top 30 Public Sector Leader to Watch in 2020.

He served most recently as a division general manager with Northrop Grumman, leading a $2.1 billion organization with over 600 programs. His prior work includes executive roles with AMS (now CGI Federal), Patriot Technologies, ICF International and Vangent (now General Dynamics).

Buice has worked as an engineer/program manager focusing on humanitarian landmine clearance, designing and deploying several innovative mine clearance tools to developing nations around the globe. He also has done work with Sandia National Labs and the American Red Cross.

“Erik will lead our executive team forward as we continue to build our reputation and capabilities in existing and new business sectors, all while adhering to our core mission of advancing health equity,” Quintas said. “Key to our collective success, I envision augmenting our capabilities with the recruitment of additional talent increasing our capacity to provide subject matter experts to our contracts and to identify and deliver niche services.
