Ann Rusher has been named vice president of General Dynamics Mission Systems’ supply chain management organization.
Rusher previously was vice president of trusted space solutions within the company’s Space and Intelligence Systems line of business. There, she managed a portfolio of national security space radio frequencies and communications payloads, precision navigation and timing products, and ground systems programs.
“Ann has routinely delivered solid financial results by meeting or exceeding her business commitments,” said Chris Brady, president of General Dynamics Mission Systems. “Her unwavering focus on program execution excellence, mission success and customer satisfaction have enabled her to consistently increase sales and operational earnings despite challenging market conditions.”
“Ann is a distinguished and respected leader who is ready and able to continue the successful legacy of the General Dynamics Mission Systems supply chain management team,” Brady added.
Rusher succeeds Scotty Miller, who retired March 18 after more than 40 years of service with General Dynamics. Brady praised Miller’s “legacy of strong customer and partner relationships, and the ultimate depiction of leadership.”
Together with his team, “Scotty transformed the supply chain management function to be a true value driver and strategic advantage for General Dynamics Mission Systems,” Brady added. “Even throughout the pandemic, during some of the toughest challenges the supply chain management organization has ever faced, he worked to ensure our customers received mission-critical products on time while meeting all technical and quality requirements.”
