The U.S. Army Geospatial Center has chosen Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. to develop prototypes and advanced capabilities to leverage artificial intelligence to optimize workflows and geospatial production for geospatially-relevant missions to include surveying, surveillance, and reconnaissance.
The single-award Geospatial Artificial Intelligence contract will provide enriched and meaningful insights that will lead to better decisions during combat operations.
Under this multiyear contract, RGi will demonstrate next-generation geospatial analytical tools for 3D complex environments applicable to low echelon and tactical edge exploitation.
The company will also develop spatially AI algorithms, tools and techniques to enable common soldier tasks such as damage extent to roads and structures, quantifying displaced earth, and movement of people and equipment.
“RGi is excited to expand our partnership with the Army by deploying mission-focused AI that will protect soldiers and boost mission effectiveness,” said RGi CEO Stephen Gillotte.
The contract’s scope includes AI/ML, data science, research and development, and software engineering solutions.
