Government services provider Amyx, Inc. has appointed Eric Axelbank as chief growth officer, responsible for market expansion strategies in areas such as cybersecurity, application modernization, eDiscovery and in the company’s professional services arm.
Axelbank began working at Amyx in 2016, overseeing its defense line of business, and then took a special assignment at the Department of Veterans Affairs for two years. He returned to Amyx as director of strategic growth and was later promoted to vice president of growth.
“Eric’s impressive career in both the public and private sector including multiple leadership roles at Amyx has given him a unique understanding of the challenges many federal agencies face as well as how our solution offerings bring positive change to their operating environments,” said President and CEO William Schaefer.

A retired Air Force colonel, Axelbank last served as a functional deputy chief information officer at the Pentagon. Recognized by the U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce as one of the Nation’s Ten Outstanding Young Americans, he brings more than 30 years of successful program operations and business leadership experience.
