    Top 15 Health Care Execs to Watch in 2021: GDIT’s Kamal Narang

    Over the past year, one of Kamal Narang’s biggest achievements is his role is his team’s partnership across various federal health agencies to continue to be nimble and agile in support of their pandemic response efforts. Plus, the team effectively retained and hired the best talent with a focus on building great teams with diverse perspectives where the “best idea wins,” he said.

    Narang said he is also proud of how GDIT provided the flexibility to its employees to navigate a healthy work-life balance while ensuring high morale and productivity by aligning the teams to stay focused on the mission. The company continued to be creative in supporting its communities through the GDIT CARES program while ensuring it could give back and make an impact in a safe environment, he added. In 2020, GDIT also increased technical training and certification opportunities for its employees.

    Why Watch

    In 2021, Narang and his team are heavily focused on driving innovation for customers, retaining agility and embracing transformative solutions as they deliver value creation for federal health missions and stakeholders. Narang said he is focused on being true partners while keeping mission first at all times. 

    “As a leader, my creed is ‘listen, collaborate, be empathetic, be respectful,’” Narang said.
