Mobile enterprise security provider Hypori announced the appointment of Jim Cushman as president of commercial markets and chief product officer.

“I am excited to have Jim Cushman partner with Hypori, to achieve its ambitious growth goals and outcomes,” said Hypori CEO Jared Shepard.

Cushman brings with him “a wealth of experience with software and technology companies experiencing explosive growth,” Shepard said.

“We will be able to leverage his sales and team-building experience and his incredible capability to help build and expand our product vision and roadmap,” Shepard added.

In his new role at Hypori, Cushman will lead Hypori’s mission of enabling secure, edge access from any device, everywhere. As chief product officer, he will oversee product strategy, management, engineering and operations. He will also lead Hypori’s strategic growth and expansion into commercial markets such as financial technology and health care.

Before joining Hypori, Cushman served as chief product officer at Collibra and prior, as senior vice president and general manager for Veeva Systems, where he helped expand the company’s public market cap by nearly 500% in three years. He holds eight technology patents and pending patents, and serves as a strategic adviser to numerous software startups.
