Infrastructure consulting firm AECOM has been awarded a contract with the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center to provide planning, design and construction management services under the Architect-Engineer NEXT 2021 contract for infrastructure and facilities globally.
The multiple-award contract has a combined $2 billion program ceiling and includes a 5-year base period and one 5-year option. AECOM has held the Air Force Civil Engineer Center’s predecessor architect-engineer contract for the last 5 years, and as a service provider, spanned several projects around the world.
AECOM President Lara Poloni said the firm’s track record of technical excellence positioned it to continue its 65-year history collaboration with the Air Force.
“We are proud to support the U.S. Air and Space Forces’ dominance in the skies and space for generations to come by delivering strong infrastructure built on the ground,” she added.
AECOM will continue to leverage its technical expertise on large-scale projects that involve the restoration, sustainment and modernization of Defense Department facilities.
