Matice Wright-Springer has rejoined Booz Allen Hamilton as a partner and senior vice president in the firm’s global defense group as part of its aerospace account.

In addition to her day-to-day role, Wright-Springer will support the Defense Department’s efforts to enable a Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control system.

Wright-Springer’s career spans the Navy, DOD, consulting and more. She served as the nation’s first Black female naval flight officer, and brings a background in national security services, policy, government and corporate responsibility, and IT.

Wright-Springer returns to Booz Allen from ManTech International, where she was vice president of government and corporate responsibility. She said she was drawn back to Booz Allen to help solve some of the complex challenges its customers face.

“The culture here at Booz Allen encourages continuous learning and innovative problem solving,” Wright-Springer added. “We steer away from complacency and gladly embrace things that have never been done before. I look forward to leading customer engagements and collaborating with others across the firm to help grow the business and provide smart solutions that protect our nation’s security.”

Andrea Inserra, a Booz Allen executive vice president and leader of the firm’s aerospace account, said Wright-Springer’s military, policy and industry background will be an asset to the firm and its clients.

Wright-Springer served as a White House fellow at the Treasury Department and as an acquisition senior executive at DOD.
