Akima subsidiary Akima Logistics Services has been awarded a seat on the Aircraft Maintenance Enterprise Solution, or ACES, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract.

This is a strategic sourcing vehicle for Air Force-wide contracted aircraft maintenance. Work is expected to be completed by September 2031 and no funds are obligated at the time of award. Total IDIQ value is $14 billion and the award was made by the Air Force Installation Contracting Agencies 338 ESS.

Under the ACES IDIQ, contractors will provide all organizational-level maintenance services for all aircraft listed in each individual task order performance work statement, which can include any aircraft platform (excluding rotary wing, tiltrotor and remotely piloted aircraft). Locations will be cited on individual task orders.

“We are proud to continue our support of vital Air Force missions and eager to provide effective, efficient, and innovative solutions,” said Scott Rauer, president of Akima’s Facilities Solutions Group.
