Intelligence, defense and deployed mission support solutions provider EverWatch has announced its acquisition of BrainTrust, a technology solutions provider to the intelligence and defense communities.
EverWatch, which typically serves national security agencies and is backed by Enlightenment Capital, will merge BrainTrust with its existing business unit in Columbia, Maryland. BrainTrust’s founders and senior management team stay on to help lead the integrated entity.
EverWatch CEO Dr. John Hillen said the team is thrilled to add a leading software development company in the intelligence arena.

The integration will enhance the merged company’s set of technical capabilities, mission expertise and contract presence for intelligence community customers, according to EverWatch Chief Growth Officer Fred Funk.
“We aim to use that combination to bid on and win mission critical work with unique technology solutions in much the same way we did with our recent win providing a unique C4ISR solution for the U.S. Navy,” Funk said.
According to Jason Rigoli, partner at Enlightenment Capital and chairman of EverWatch, the merger allows EverWatch to continue pursuing its strategy of combining innovative technical capabilities with the infrastructure and reach of a mid-tier player
