Allen Badeau, senior vice president and chief technology officer at NCI, has won WashingtonExec’s 2020 Chief Officer Award for Private Company CTO.
In his acceptance speech, he thanked WashingtonExec for the award and expressed gratitude for the recognition he has received throughout his career.
He went on to discuss the challenges he has faced, how they have helped him grow and the way they served as stepping stones toward innovation.
“Each challenge has only strengthened me and made me the person I am today,” he said.
Badeau then thanked the executive leadership team at NCI and his CTO team for their support and contributions to the company.
“I sincerely thank each one of you for helping me reach a stage where I can proudly accept this award as a mark of my achievement,” Badeau said. “This award partially goes to you.”
Lastly, he thanked his family for supporting him through the long hours and travel his position requires.
