Sincerus Global Solutions Inc. has launched as a new professional service company serving the federal government after it bought Science Applications International Corp.’s international development service portfolio on July 6.
Sincerus said that portfolio includes “peacekeeping and law enforcement training, ‘rule of law’ consulting, and related implementation services” for the departments of State and Justice.
The new business is led by CEO and Chairman Tony Smeraglinolo, former president and CEO of Engility. Glen Schumacher, former vice president of SAIC’s international development services business unit, serves as president and chief operating officer.
Though Sincerus is new, its leadership brings over 25 years of business expertise and a team of experienced service providers.
Smeraglinolo and Schumacher say they envision Sincerus “as the preeminent provider of expeditionary mission support, security sector development, training, advising, and logistics support.”
“Our intense focus on the mission will allow Sincerus to deliver enhanced capabilities and innovation that supports U.S. global stability objectives through security sector reform and civilian security programs,” Smeraglinolo said.
Sincerus is a privately held company that supports global clients and delivers innovative and adaptive programing worldwide.
Employees and contractors working on programs in Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East will transition to Sincerus immediately.
