Northrop Grumman Corporation has been chosen to provide preliminary research and development on U.S. military health care application to improve the way health care is delivered to military personal.

Northrop Grumman is among seven companies awarded five-year, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contracts by the TRICARE Management Activity (TMA).  The program has a ceiling of $300 million.  The Northrop Grumman team will work at the Pacific Joint Information Technology Center (JITC) in Kihei, Hawaii.

Amy Caro, vice president of health information technology programs at Northrop Grumman said, “We have fielded a strong team that can bring a consistent approach to designs and prototypes that can easily link to existing architectures to reduce risk and costs while improving health care.  We will leverage our extensive health IT experience in information operations and provide TMA with innovative full-spectrum solutions to help them meet their mission needs.”
