    NIH Services and Solutions Contract Awarded to CSC

    CSC announced that it was awarded an information technology services and “as a service” solutions contract by the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC).  The Chief Information Officer- Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3), an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) government-wide acquisition contract, has an estimated ceiling value of $20 billion for all awardees and a 10-year performance period.

    Mike Gaffney, president of CSC’s North American Public Sector Civil Group said, “CSC has a 15-year legacy of working with the National Institutes of Health to provide world-class technical solutions to federal agencies.  Our as a service, cloud and data center consolidation solutions leverage CSC’s proven commercial experience, enabling government agencies to achieve increased operational effectiveness and cost efficiencies while focusing on mission goals.”

    CSC will provide a broad range of service solutions for federal, civilian or Department of Defense agencies to meet their IT requirements including health and biomedical-related IT services for scientific, administrative, operational, managerial and information management requirements.
