E3/Sentinel has formed a board of advisers composed of a former Department of Homeland Security official, a strategic communications expert and a talent expert.
Before joining E3/Sentinel’s board of advisers, Kevin McAleenan was the acting secretary of DHS. Prior to that, he served as commissioner of Customs and Border Protection from January 2017 to March 20, 2018.
Before joining government, McAleenan practiced law in the private sector from 1998- 2001, when he was recruited to help stand up the CBP Office of Antiterrorism. He became the center’s executive director eventually.
“E3/Sentinel has been able to accomplish remarkable results and mission impact in a short amount of time,” McAleenan said. “I’m excited to work closely with E3/Sentinel to help their talent, client and solution initiatives while accelerating their capabilities for clients.”
Topper Ray, who has served as president of communications of Bravo Group since January 2011, worked for George H.W. Bush as a press aide in the Office of Presidential Advance. He also served as a press lead during the 1992 presidential campaign working for the Republican National Committee.
Ray came to Bravo from Blank Rome, where he was a founding principal of Blank Rome Government Relations LLC and director of communications and public relations for Blank Rome LLP. He also worked as a senior vice president at Tierney Communications.
Luanne Pavco is the general manager of Slalom Consulting (Mid Atlantic). She has over 20 years of experience in business development, account management, business strategy and process transformation initiatives. She was previously managing partner of public sector for IBM Global Business Services and also worked at PWC.
Pavco graduated from Georgetown University and has an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
E3/Sentinel CEO Andy Maner said the advisory board will help the company ensure it’s always using and building the right mission skills and capabilities for its clients.
“These three individuals also add strong mission and culture complements to our teams as well as unique and recognized eminence given their accomplishments in federal government and their knowledge of best practices in the commercial space,” he added. “They will provide valuable insights and deep networks of expertise and knowledge as we continue our momentum as a leading middle market mission-focused, service driven solutions company.”
