CM Equity Partners company Preferred Systems Solutions, Inc. has acquired Eagle Ray, Inc, an advisory and IT management consulting firm.

As part of the agreement, Eagle Ray President and CEO Babs Doherty becomes senior vice president within PSS’ newly formed Eagle Ray Technologies Group. She will report to Randy Morgan, who said Babs has “an exceptional background” including both executive leadership and a technical background.

“Each day provides us with an opportunity to excel and delight our customers with exceptional solutions and services,” Morgan added. “Babs and the Eagle Ray leadership team are well known and well respected by customers, partners and colleagues within the industry and their experience is directly related to the areas of growth we are pursuing at PSS.”

Headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia, Eagle Ray was founded in 2002 and delivers business and technical capabilities across the intelligence community, the departments of Defense and Homeland Security and financial regulatory agencies.
