A small company focused on the defense and intelligence sectors, BlackHorse Solutions in the third quarter of 2019 secured prime contract awards with a potential total value of $116 million, inclusive of recently acquired Amp+.

These awards come from a range of federal customers including the Defense Department, the intelligence community and civilian organizations, as well as from commercial entities that span cybersecurity, electronic warfare, technical operations, readiness, analytics, and quantum security.

The awards follow BlackHorse’s move this summer to name the first key members of a new board of advisers. They are John F. Mulholland, a career U.S. Army Special Forces officer and retired lieutenant general; Craig Nixon, a retired Army brigadier general, CEO and entrepreneur; and Frank J. Cilluffo, director of Auburn University’s McCrary Institute and previously founder and director the Center for Cyber & Homeland Security at George Washington University.

Headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, and with offices in Tampa, Florida, Denver, Colorado, and Fayetteville, North Carolina, BlackHorse has capabilities in cybersecurity, information operations, readiness and training, radio spectrum operations, and advanced cryptography areas.
