Trowbridge has appointed Matthew Candy, former managing direct of Arena Strategic Advisors, as its new chief growth officer and executive vice president of corporate strategy and development.
Candy has more than 20 years of experience in public and privately held companies focusing on growth, mergers and acquisitions and customer relationships. He co-founded consulting firm Arena Strategic Advisors in 2014, where he facilitated several M&A transactions and business development-related engagements for private equity clients.
Candy has also served as senior executive at General Dynamics Information Technology and ManTech International.
In his new position at Trowbridge, Candy will oversee acquisition strategy and business development implementation.
He said he is excited to join the team as it continues to grow.
“I look forward to leveraging my experience driving organic and inorganic growth as both an executive and consultant to companies operating in the Government Services market as we enter this next stage of evolution with our partnership with Enlightenment Capital,” he added.
And Cass Panciocco, Trowbridge president and CEO, said the company is looking forward to Candy’s addition as it continues building its defense, intelligence and federal-civilian markets.
“Matt’s leadership and extensive experience in these sectors will be integral to driving growth that will create value for our employees, customers, and partners,” Panciocco said.
