MAXIMUS has added its Intelligent Assistant platform to its portfolio of cloud service offerings authorized by the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.

This is the government services provider’s third FedRAMP authorization, following MAXIMUS Cloud and MAXIMUS Engagement Platform. The General Services Administration’s FedRAMP allows MAXIMUS to easily and cost-efficiently provide its customer care technology to federal agencies through the authorization’s standardized and vetted security approach.

Specifically, the Intelligent Assistant platform is a virtual assistant powered by Interactions Adaptive Understanding Technology. It’s designed to enhance federal agencies’ self-serving offerings so citizens can complete more transactions on their own or get to the right customer service representative. The technology uses artificial intelligence and human understanding to provide human-like interactions.

And because federal agencies are looking to improve the citizen experience, authorizing these platforms with FedRAMP makes it easier for them to adopt the tools they need

“With these FedRAMP Authorizations, MAXIMUS is able to meet the stringent security requirements of federal agencies, while delivering an innovative and cost-effective solution that can ultimately support mission objectives and provide the highest quality citizen services,” said Bruce Caswell, president and CEO of MAXIMUS.

Recently authorized MAXIMUS Cloud is an enterprise-level, multi-tenant private and community cloud available to federal agencies, and MAXIMUS Engagement Platform serves as an infrastructure for government citizen engagement centers.
