Texas-based APTIM announced its current executive vice president and president of government business, Michael Donnelly, has been appointed to CEO, leveraging his more than 35 years of experience in the industry.
Donnelly is succeeding Gary Baughman following his resignation. Before serving his dual roles at APTIM, Donnelly spent years in operational business development and executive roles for Raytheon Technical Services Company, URS, EG&G and Lear Siegler Services. Most recently, he was group president of Enterprise Growth Solutions Group and chief growth officer for AECOM before joining APTIM in 2018.
Among other services, the company provides integrated maintenance services, environmental engineering, program management, disaster response and recovery to private sector and government customers. Donnelly said he’s honored to be taking the position and leading APTIM into its next phase of growth.
“Our Company has made tremendous strides over the past few years, and I look forward to working alongside our talented leadership team and dedicated employees to continue delivering value for our clients as we build on our momentum and drive long-term growth,” he said.
And the feeling is mutual — Ramzi Musallam, CEO and managing partner of APTIM’s financial and strategic partner Veritas Capital, said the company is excited to welcome Donnelly as CEO.
“He is a proven industry leader with significant expertise across APTIM’s end markets, deep customer relationships, and a strong track record of operational and strategic success. Over the course of his career, Mike has linked organizational capabilities with government and commercial client objectives to drive transformational growth,” Musallam said.
