QTS Realty Trust, Inc. appointed former Engility Corp. senior vice president and chief financial officer, Wayne Rehberger, to its board of directors, where he’ll bring more than 35 years of experience in financial, operational and sales management experience to the table.

Rehberger will serve on the board as an independent director, expanding the data center solutions provider’s board count to 10 directors.

Prior to Engility Corp., Rehberger was senior vice president and CFO of TASC, Inc., and served as chief operating officer and CFO of XO Communications, a telecommunications services provider.

QTS chairman and CEO Chad Williams welcomed Rehberger to the board, expressing confidence in his financial and operational experience.

“We anticipate Wayne’s experience leading the financial organization for multiple leading communications infrastructure and technology companies will provide valuable insight and perspective in support of QTS’ approach to capital allocation and overall financial management,” Williams said.

Rehberger also has experience working with government agencies and aerospace companies during his time at KPMG, and served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve for 10 years.
