Nine months after being acquired by Madison Dearborn Partners and CoVant Management, LinQuest Corp. has named Timothy Dills new chief executive and president.
The former Scitor Corp. executive will be tasked with leading a corporate development strategy to pursue opportunities that bring new market access and capabilities to the company, grow its customer base, attract and retain top talent, and up engagement with all stakeholders, LinQuest said.
“It’s a privilege to be named LinQuest’s CEO,” Dills said. “I look forward to helping the company reach the next level while expanding opportunities for our greatest asset – our employees. I believe in transparent leadership fueled by honesty and trust. I am particularly pleased that there is clear customer trust in LinQuest and incredible talent to advance our customers’ critical missions.”
Dills was previously president of Scitor Corp., which he helped grow to a $600 million business. He led the acquisition and integration of Kinsey Technical Services, Inc. as well as intelligence community-related assets acquired from General Dynamics.
After Scitor’s sale to SAIC, Dills stayed on with the company for over a year to support the transition.
“We have selected an individual to lead LinQuest who has proven leadership skills, an appreciation for our culture, an understanding of our domain, customers and their missions, and a team-oriented management style,” said Joseph Kampf, chairman of LinQuest’s board of directors and chairman and CEO of CoVant. “Tim’s experience, industry background and leadership qualities will be essential in guiding LinQuest as we move into the next phase and prepare for a robust future.”
Dills will be based at LinQuest’s Chantilly, Virginia, office.
