CALIBRE Systems, Inc. has won a prime contract from the Defense Department’s Joint Forces Development contracting vehicle supporting U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff J7.

Under this deal, CALIBRE will deliver an array of training support services and solutions in four key domains: Joint Training Concepts, Joint Training Environment, Exercises and Events, and Joint Lessons Learned and Joint Doctrine.

The multiple-award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract is estimated to have a ceiling value of $500 million. It includes a 5-year base period with one 6-month option. Work will be conducted mainly in Suffolk, Virginia, with support to Joint Staff and Combatant Command requirements.

“CALIBRE has focused on building our training support services capabilities to support growing Warfighter requirements and facilitate a ready force,” said Tom Peitler, CALIBRE executive vice president and chief operations officer. “We provide a deep understanding of the training environment, coupled with a unified vision with the Joint Forces for future joint training. With this award, CALIBRE will have the opportunity to further support the Army and expand our support to the Joint Forces to achieve our shared mission of sustaining a trained and ready Joint Force.”
