Advanced Concepts and Technologies International LLC participated in the Reagan National Defense Forum in Simi Valley, California, which wrapped up earlier this month.

The two-day event, which ran from Nov. 30 to Dec. 1, brought together key officials in the defense community including high-ranking members of Congress and senior Defense Department and military officials.

Event organizers said the mission of the forum — to address the health of the country’s national defense and to stimulate discussions that promote policies to strengthen the U.S. military — is more essential than ever as national security threats increase in number and complexity. ACT I CEO Michael Niggel and Chief Financial Officer Mark Hughes engaged with several defense thought leaders during the forum.

“It is valuable forums like these that enable the public and private sector to come together to address the defense needs of our nation and our allies,” Niggel said. “It is through open dialogue that the government and industry work together to strengthen our U.S. military and international alliances.”
