SOS International has hired long-time Booz Allen Hamilton technology executive Michael Haney to be the company’s chief information officer.

Haney has an extensive resume in the aerospace, defense and government services industry.

He most recently served as Booz Allen Hamilton’s senior director of enterprise systems delivery, where he led a team of more than 150 personnel and spearheaded the building and development of systems ranging from integrated commercial off-the-shelf products to custom applications.

Overall, he had led IT design, development and maintenance at Booz Allen since 2008.

“Mike brings valuable experience innovating, scaling and managing IT systems that anticipate the needs of a diversified, growth-oriented organization in the government contracting space,” said SOSi President and CEO Julian Setian. “SOSi is on a fast, upward trajectory. An executive of Mike’s caliber is essential to ensure the compatibility, reliability, scalability, performance and security of our enterprise systems.”

SOSi recently announced the hiring of Morgan Roth as the vice president of marketing and communications. She joined the company from the International Association of Fundraising Professionals, where she served as chief strategy officer and vice president of strategic communications.
