Systems integrator Trowbridge & Trowbridge has expanded its leadership team, naming Joanie Barr as senior vice president of technology and solutions, the company announced.

“With Joanie’s extensive experience managing delivery of technical and professional services to federal government customers, she will focus on the company’s technology strategy and solution architecture practice aligning our best practices and technology into solutions that deliver on customer requirements,” said Trowbridge President and CEO Karen Trowbridge.

In her new role, Barr will also oversee Trowbridge’s proposal development process and operations. Barr will report to Chief Operating Officer Cass Panciocco.

“We are extremely pleased to have Joanie join our executive leadership team,” Panciocco said. “Her experience will help us address Federal Government customers’ current and future needs ensuring that we deliver the highest quality technical solutions for our customers and maximize the value of their technology investments.”

Barr, who has 30 years of industry experience, was most recently the group manager and vice president responsible for federal health programs for ASRC Federal’s Information Systems and Technology group. In that role, she helped secure more than $150 million in contracts for ASRC businesses within the federal health market, mostly in support of the Defense Health Agency and Military Health System.

She also held senior leadership positions at Data Networks Corp. and ManTech International.
